Welcome to Episode 1 of Things I've Been Overthinking Lately.

I've called it Episode 1 because I think we all know this is likely to be a never-ending series.

Anyway, here's a little collection of colours, textures, materials, shapes and other things that have been taking up an unreasonable amount of space in my head lately.

No particular order. No particular purpose. Just things I keep coming back to.

What is the perfect shade of white?

Warm white? Cool white? Cream? Ivory? How can one colour have so many possibilities, and why is choosing one so difficult?

Where do all the cables go?

And why is cable management so unnecessarily complicated? Surely there's a way to make everything disappear without dismantling half the furniture.

Should I make a container for the containers?

That's just pure craziness. Although…

What is the perfect temperature of warm white?

Is 2700K too warm, or is 3000K too cold?

Should I make it 6mm or 7mm?
