The Art of Hiding Things

A little surprise behind closed doors.

My 3D printer needed a new home. Preferably one that didn't involve having a rather large piece of equipment permanently on display in my studio.

I wanted something that would blend into the room, keep everything looking neat and organised, but still be practical and accessible when I needed it.

So, naturally, a simple storage solution turned into a whole project of its own.

A cupboard to house the printer, storage for all the bits and pieces that come with it, and a little surprise behind closed doors.

From the outside, it looks like a perfectly ordinary cupboard. Open the doors, though, and it's a different story.
